Beautiful Roadways

No one ever bothers talking about roadways. Yea sure I do all this to my car but never do I wonder or  thank the people that do work on our highways. Maybe if NYC wasn't filled with all these assholes that are lazy and do half ass jobs on construction I would be praising a lot more about the cities roads. However, here are countries with extraordinary scenic views of nature along with mans creation of roads. Here are a few highway systems that caught my attention. Sorry asshole that's romanticizing and exoticizing Japan. There ARE OTHER COUNTRIES in the world that are beautiful and their roadways  are overlooked at because it's not chique or trendy as Japan.

Here are a few that caught my mind

Korea

Beograde, Serbia

Netherlands

Thailand

Serbia has some really messed up roads depending on where you go but Beograd is definitely the epicenter for smooth roads. The city has gone through a serious rebuilding process ever since the bombings of 1999 where basically everything is going towards rebuilding damaged infrastructure throughout the city. Being that we're trying to uphold the EU standard for a lot of things now (which is slow but moving) our roads have benefitted greatly as a result.

Look at this pic: http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee178/sehensucht/DSCN0302.jpg

btw, the autobahn has some really serious road work. This is pretty much the standard throughout most of Europe. There are so many levels of smoothing, paving, etc. that go into making the road that its very hard to mess the roads up to the degree that they get messed up in here in the states (granted tho they dont have as much traffic that we do here in NYC...but still, thats no excuse).
