Stirring The Pot

Can you seriously dismiss someones automotive couture because of an individuals selection on wheels? Looks like this sucks because they are on Rotas. Too bad this car is too dope. People are angry that you can style on them for half the cost.

Ugly build because of Rotas?

Stop being swayed by these so called "insiders." The people that voice their opinions in the automotive world rely on the market. Their living is based on you spending $3000 on wheels that an overweight kid in a forum can give you high five for. So people that work for Work, Vertex, and any other Japanese company you can think of will want you to buy their products. They are creating a label for these knock off companies or who ever as fake and inferior. How many people track with Rotas? Like I said if Mackin Industries cares for the consumer they would be making low cast versions of their wheels right now and Rota would be out of business.

Steel Wheels

Is it really worth it to spend so much time, money and effort to put steel wheels on one's car? I recently looked into how much and how heavy steel wheels are. Unless you're driving a truck in treacherous Alaskan winter your better off not buying them at all.  Sure steelies are inexpensive however there weight is an incredible turn off. Aftermarket low offset steel wheels at 17 inches usually weight in at about 30-35lbs. Not only is this going to effect your mpg, but will increase stress in your bearings and joints. But who cares about that when it looks cool right? Is it worth getting high fives from guys that post 12 times a day in car forums?

Same rims but different tuning platforms. Not everything is build to become a performance vehicle. Some cars are just tuner cars while others are commuters.

How to Prepare Your Car for Winter

How to Prepare Your Car for Winter
Winter weather can pose all kinds of problems when it comes to your automobile. Driving conditions can be hazardous and can change suddenly. To keep yourself safe during the winter season, there are a few things you should do to prepare your car for the weather.
Tires
You may want to think about purchasing snow tires depending on the area in which you live. If your car has alloy wheels, consider getting tires that have steel rims. Alloy wheels can be easily damaged in winter. Also, it’s important to check tire pressure frequently. You can do this yourself with a tire gauge. You can find the recommended tire pressure for your car or truck in your owner’s manual. At minimum, you need to check the tread on your tires to make sure that it is deep enough to handle snow and ice.
Lights
Make sure your lights are clean and in good working order before the winter weather arrives. If a light breaks or burns out, have it fixed or changed immediately.
Battery
You can test your battery yourself by purchasing a hydrometer from your local auto parts store. If your battery is between 3 and 4 years old, you may want to consider buying a new one. The winter season is harder on your battery. If you don’t feel comfortable checking it yourself, take your car to a professional and have them test it for you.
Check Fluids
Make sure to check your antifreeze before the winter season. If you would like to do it yourself, you can buy an antifreeze tester from an auto parts store. Your coolant system should contain 50 percent antifreeze and 50 percent water. This is something that can be checked at a service center if you would prefer to have a professional check it for you. You should also have a fresh oil change before the onset of winter. Make sure all fluids have been checked, filled, or replaced as necessary.
Wipers
You should replace windshield wiper blades so that you will have better visibility in case of a winter storm. Windshield wipers are only good for about one year. Always make sure to carry extra windshield washer fluid in your trunk in case you need it.
Be Prepared
You never know when you are going to be caught up in bad weather. Always have the following items in your trunk in case of an emergency: an ice scraper/brush, spare tire, a jack, jumper cables, a shovel, and salt. You may want to prepare a special “emergency kit” in case you are ever stranded. It should contain a flashlight, batteries, matches, food (granola bars or trail mix), blankets, and extra winter clothing.
Winter driving can pose all kinds of unpredictable problems. Stay ahead of the game by having your car winterized before the bad weather hits.

Men & Scooters = No

With the import automotive world being predominately saturated with Japanese cars and  anything with their culture, it was only a matter of time that you started seeing insecure 5'4 "Asian-American" hypebeast driving these (Insert Ethnic Asian) delivery rides. Is it possible to even consider yourself a MAN when you firmly believe its ideal to drive around in a small scooter?

A comment from the link by Scooter Rider:

"I ride a scooter and I like them, but I know that guys who ride them look totally gay. Guys cannot ride scooters without looking like a homo. I can't afford to buy and insure a l real motorcycle, so I ride a scooter. It's great for getting around town and going to work, and I'm married so I don't need to try to impress girls. Single, young guys should not ride one unless they want everyone to think they are gay. As an aside, a lot of scooter riders think they are the cat's meow, and that's just sort of pathetic."

I know a lot of the people that jumped on this hype are predominately Asian kids from here mainly in California. I have seen  Rukus meets in the North East by NYC and NJ,they too are  predominately Asian. The people that usually fix these scooters are  hypebeast "Asian Americans" that claim they are fashionistas by shopping in Supreme,Bape,Stussy,Neighborhood and Uniqlo. These are the guys that hop on forums, sig some Import model of 9 races mixed with dog when she looks mongoloid and wants everyone's approval for every little detail on their so called build.

Drivers With Leaf Badges

What the Badges really mean:

Drivers in Japan from their 75th birthday need to display a momiji (Japanese maple leaf) sign of autumnal red and gold on the windscreen or on the back of the car whenever they get behind the wheel. There is no rule as to where the sign should be put which means that it can get overlooked. Presumably the thinking is that, like learners, elderly drivers need to be identified so that the other road users will drive more defensively. There will come a time if it hasn't already when momiji signs considerably outnumber learner signs as the elderly have perhaps 15 to 20 years to display whilst learners are usually finished within six months.

(Refer To JDM Guy Above)

Ignoring the meanings of symbols, and just identifying something as "that shit is hot niqqa" or "dats straight up fiyah." Usually you will see some guy named Chris or the driver has a friend named Chris that owns an Integra that is similar to this one. Yes this guy doesn't even know what Option sticker really means nor has he ever seen an Option magazine or video. The Japanese badge indicates that any revving or flybys from this "niqqa" be ignored.

Meat on Wheels

With the trend of stretching tires, what ever happened to getting more for your money?
